Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings to ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Monitor budget variances and provide detailed variance analysis to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
