Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger management and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Assist external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
