As an Accountant at Tampa Financial Partners, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with our finance leadership to drive strategic decision-making through data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor relations and billing.
- Collaborate with the HR department on payroll processing and benefits administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
