Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely billing and payments.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns, ensuring full compliance.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate time tracking data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
