Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Lead audits and tax preparation processes with external partners
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Proven experience managing accounting teams or complex projects
