Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct financial audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
