Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct financial variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audits and ensure regulatory compliance for financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and/or private sector
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and reporting
