Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and variance reports for management review.
- Assist with external audits and internal control compliance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
