Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to support executive decision-making and budget planning.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
