Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all journal entries are recorded and reconciled correctly.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist with external audits and internal control reviews; ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting process and assist in the preparation of monthly variance analyses.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and meet tight deadlines.
