Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with precision.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions and bank accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with department heads to provide financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Manage the month-end reporting cycle and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, FASB standards, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
