Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for key business units.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate audit deliverables.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Review expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
