Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. You will play a key role in the month-end close process and internal audits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transaction recording.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and corporate compliance documentation.
  • Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and inventory valuations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
