Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and ensure accurate monthly and year-end closing.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
