Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and audit tax documents for corporate and individual clients
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for departmental projects
- Mentor junior accountants and process documentation initiatives
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and auditing standards
- Proven experience with financial modeling and variance analysis
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
- Experience managing accounting teams and process optimization projects
- Certifications: CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation
