Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and facilitate external audits.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting or a related role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
