As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing complex reconciliations, and providing strategic financial insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and inter-company transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budgeting processes.
- Review and approve invoices and expense reports for accuracy and authorization.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, direct-hire environment.
