Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end close procedures, and financial statement preparation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with strict attention to internal controls and compliance
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Oversee audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
