Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Assist in the annual audit process and provide requested documentation to external auditors.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting financial data to management.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
