Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Optimize accounting workflows through automation and process improvement
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive continuous learning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
