Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and working with external auditors.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement improved financial controls and reporting structures.
- Manage inter-company transactions and ensure accurate inter-company billing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
