Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts for executive review.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist with external audits and internal compliance reviews to ensure regulatory standards are met.
- Streamline accounting workflows and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong preference for direct hire experience.
- CPA certification or active CPA candidate status is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
