Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Oversee bank reconciliations and financial audits
- Implement and improve accounting systems and processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential financial information discreetly
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions (a plus)
- Relevant certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor, CPAB) desirable
