Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare complex financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and reconcile general ledger accounts to identify financial discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and year-end audit processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure liquidity and vendor satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (CPA/MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle experience a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to lead the month-end close process and manage a team of junior accountants.
