Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Perform general ledger entries and maintain the chart of accounts.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to ensure accuracy and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
