Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of general ledger accounting and lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and inter-company eliminations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Support management with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
