Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all general ledger reconciliations are accurate.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure full compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
