Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to optimize cash flow.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers.
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems and financial policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
