Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and improve profitability.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and provide necessary documentation for external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and capital expenditure tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
