Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements with high accuracy.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll ledgers.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries and adjustments are recorded timely.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records and documentation are in order.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the accounting department to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and inconsistencies in financial data.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
