Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Process payroll and manage payroll-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master's degree preferred.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
