Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict adherence to GAAP standards.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data across all systems.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external auditors during audits.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budget preparation and long-term financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for cross-departmental collaboration.
