What you'll do:
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Oversee general ledger functions, including account reconciliation and variance analysis.Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts for future growth.Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.Perform internal audits to ensure internal controls are effective and operational.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
