The Role
As our Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial integrity. You will manage daily financial transactions, prepare accurate reports, and collaborate with leadership to optimize our fiscal strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and potential savings.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure timely filings.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget forecasting.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) to maintain up-to-date ledgers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks Online a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
