Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with executive-level insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with strict compliance protocols
- Lead tax preparation and regulatory reporting for federal/state filings
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-departmental financial training
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP platforms
- Solid understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance
