In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage complex accounts, and provide strategic financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff and review their work.
- Perform internal audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
