As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial health, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the bank reconciliation process and ensure cash flow is managed efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and work with external auditors during audits.
- Implement and improve internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
