Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance against forecasts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
