Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Support accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory compliance documents
- Contribute to internal audit procedures and process improvement initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle) for transaction recording
- Adhere to GAAP standards and company financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
