Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance analysis
- Oversee payroll processing with daily pay integration for contract employees
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and Nevada state tax codes
- Develop and implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Proven experience with payroll processing and daily pay systems
- Deep understanding of Nevada tax codes and federal compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial data to stakeholders
