Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and support the month-end close process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
