Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and financial auditing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
