Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors for annual reviews.
- Develop and maintain complex budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
