Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and variance reports.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial forecasting to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during year-end reviews.
- Optimize accounting workflows and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
