Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare and file corporate and individual tax returns, ensuring full compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk and fraud.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial forecasting and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
