Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Provide financial analysis for client consultations
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Texas residency and valid work authorization
