Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for department heads.
- Ensure all tax filings and government reporting requirements are met accurately.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to prevent financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
