Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor and process invoices, payments, and receipts, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance data integrity.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll processing and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
