We are looking for a driven individual to manage our general ledger, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite (advanced Excel skills are mandatory).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
