Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closings and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and present financial insights to senior leadership and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
